Plugins
Plugins are the protocol connectors and message processing tools available on your platform. They determine what types of connections you can create and what you can do with messages in a pipeline.
You don't install or configure plugins yourself. Your administrator manages them. This page explains what they are and how to check what's available.
What plugins do
When you create an adapter, the connection types you can choose from come from installed plugins. Each connectivity plugin adds one or more connection types to the wizard. Pipeline plugins add processing components (field mappers, filters, loggers) to the Pipeline Designer.
If a connection type you need isn't available in the wizard, the required plugin may not be installed. Contact your administrator.
Viewing installed plugins
In the Portal, go to Plugins. You'll see a list of everything installed, including the version and the components each plugin provides.
Standard plugins
Every Conncentric installation includes connectivity plugins for officially supported protocols, plus common pipeline components and diagnostics tooling. See Official Plugins for details on each connectivity plugin and its capabilities.
The platform also ships with pre-built adapters and sample artifacts so you can verify your environment immediately. See What's Included for the full list.
Additional plugins may be installed depending on your platform configuration.
If you need a plugin that isn't installed
Contact your administrator or Connamara support. Plugins are installed at the platform level and require administrator access.
